Hotel Grande Fjord

All are large in size and in very good condition as are the bathrooms. They are decorated in modern style, but with neat rustic touches and the use of plenty of wood. 80% of the rooms enjoy views of the fjord. Located on the top floor it is an informal quiet restaurant with spectacular views over the water. This wooden chalet-style hotel is actually built into the the hill coming up from the fjord, entrance to the hotel is actually on the 6th floor and then you take the elevator down to the reception. Because this is such a unique building there are actually 02 lobby areas, one on the top floor which is also the entrance to the hotel and one at fjord or ground level, both are small with nice lounge areas looking out over the beautiful scenery of the area. Being just outside the village of Geiranger on its own means this hotel's location is even more tranquil that those of the other hotels there. RY1105
